Nutrition Counseling Overview
If you are interested in one-on-one consultation to help you eat more healthfully now and for the rest of your life please contact our office at (208) 440-5041 or complete the INC Nutrition Profile .

Working one-on-one with an INC Consultant means practical knowledge, personal attention and needed support. Most of us know what to do to eat right, but translating nutrition goals into a workable meal plan and finding the motivation to follow it takes more than common sense.

INC Consultants help you translate science-based nutrition information into a realistic and manageable eating plan. We help you navigate the grocery store, restaurant menus, and the supplement aisle in health food stores.

Whether your goal is to shed excess weight, lower cholesterol or blood pressure, boost energy or simply stay healthy as you age, working one-on-one with an INC Consultant will give you the tools and support you need to eat healthfully today - and for the long term.

What's involved?
Once you've decided the time is right to make permanent changes to your diet, we'd like you to complete the INC Nutrition Profile form. This is a short questionnaire that asks you about your nutrition and health goals, your medical history, and your eating and exercise habits. Once you've completed the form, we ask that you submit the form online back to us. This allows us to get a head start on your nutrition assessment before we meet with you.

The initial consultation will take about an hour. This is a time to assess lifestyle patterns, recommend and develop a specific eating plan based on the submitted information in the profile form. Goals and strategies are discussed. A follow-up visit is scheduled. The 30-minute follow-up visit is an important time for you to report on your progress and to tweak the plan as needed to better meet your goals. Observed obstacles and strategies for continued success are discussed.

What are the Costs and Does Insurance Cover This?
You will need to check with your current provider to determine if nutrition services are a part of your medical plan.  Regardless of nutrition coverage, INC expects payment at time of service. See the specific counseling costs under the type of counseling you are seeking.
